As Country Representative in Cambodia, Pining oversees the financial management of VFA’s entire Cambodia program, supports the administrative and program work of all staff, and works on developing human resources.
Prior to joining VFA, Pining worked in Cambodia as the Office Administrator to CARE International and as a Financial Consultant to the American Red Cross. In Washington, DC, she worked with the Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America and the United States Catholic Conference of administrative and financial management, advocacy, and publishing. In her native Philippines, Pining developed financial and personnel management systems for educational and non-government organizations. She served as a Project Coordinator for the Asian Social Institute and worked as the Personnel Director for Baguio Colleges Foundation. She also has extensive experience in the publishing field.
Pining holds a B.A. degree in Accounting and Business Administration and has completed coursework toward a M.A. degree in Guidance and Counseling.
