Vice President Biden and HASC Chairman Skelton Recognize Military Families
Veterans for America (VFA) is pleased that Vice President Joe Biden and House Armed Services Committee Chairman Ike Skelton are bringing attention to military families as we enter our eighth year of conflict overseas. The discussions they are hosting today with military families at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, are part of a vital dialogue between the administration and America’s servicemembers and their families.
Please take the time to contact your Senators and urge them to make 2009 the Year of the Military Family. VFA calls on the Senate to formally recognize the sacrifice borne by the spouses, children, parents, and loved ones of our men and women in uniform, as their colleagues in the House of Representatives did in March.
